Set-up and operation of manual mills and lathes and keyseaters to fabricate/shape replacement parts from various grades of steel. This is not a production machining position. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company: safety glasses, hearing, hard hat. Comprehensive fringe benefit package. Starting pay, $22.70/hr. After 3 months, $25.22/hr.

Requirements of Job:
Minimum 5 years experience as a specialty machinist; operating manual machines, blueprint reading, math, operating to high tolorances. Must have skills in set-up and operation of lathes, mills and keyseaters. Requires ability to machine ferrous/nonferrous materials sometimes without use of blueprints. Must be available for daily overtime to cover absences. If scheduled production weekends (Sat/Sun), overtime required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand up to 8 hrs. per day. Background check, drug test, physical and teamwork evaluations required. Screening evaluations and skills testing are done prior to interviewing. Clothing requirements: cotton clothing & metatarsal steel-toed shoes (employee).
